Baia Gallery presents Guranda Klibadze in the project ‘Gallery – Open Studio.’

The most interesting project of the summer season – the story of creating a painting!
From July 21 to September 21, over the course of two months, Baia Gallery’s Private Collections Space (19a Ingorokhva Street) will be entirely dedicated to Guranda Klibadze and transformed into her studio. Once a week, visitors will have the opportunity to observe the artist’s working process, which can also be followed on the gallery’s social media channels – Facebook and Instagram (baiagallery_)

The final week of the project (September 15–21) will be dedicated to an exhibition of the works created in the gallery, and the artist’s studio will again be transformed into the gallery’s exhibition space. The monumental scale and expressive execution of Guranda Klibadze’s works will make this process a fascinating spectacle.

How is a work of art created? What stages does the canvas or sheet of paper pass through, from a blank surface to its final form – from process to completion? How does the artist navigate the creative process? How are the artist’s working style and manner of execution reflected in the final work?
Baia Gallery has represented Guranda Klibadze since 2016. During these ten years, nearly 100 of the artist’s works have been exhibited in the gallery’s group exhibitions. In 2024, the gallery presented her solo exhibition, ‘Kings and Royal Gardens.’ Guranda Klibadze’s works are held in private collections in Georgia and abroad.

The gallery/studio is open to visitors on Sundays, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
