A New Auction Record for Merab Abramishvili!
The artwork by Merab Abramishvili has achieved a remarkable result at an international auction.
“The Apple of Paradise” was sold on 31 May 2026 at the Bukowskis Helsinki Spring Sale in Finland, setting a new auction record for the artist.
The work was sold for € 241 822, surpassing his previous highest auction result.
The painting came from a Finnish private collection. In 1992, a Finnish collector acquired 14 works directly from the artist, including several major paintings. Over the years, works from this collection have gradually appeared at international auctions.
