Georgian Artists at an International Auction!

Another work by Merab Abramishvili – the artist’s 57th artwork to appear at an international auction  is featured in the Bukowskis Helsinki Spring Sale in Finland.

Until May 31, follow the online bidding for Merab Abramishvili’s work “The Apple of Paradise” on the Bukowskis international auction platform and on our gallery’s social media channels.

We are expecting the price to rise daily and hope for a record-breaking result!

In 1992, a Finnish collector purchased 14 works directly from the artist, including the large-scale painting “Tree of Paradise.” Several works from this collection have since been sold at international auctions over the years.

The authentication and expert evaluation of Merab Abramishvili’s works for this lot, as well as for international auctions in general, is conducted by Baia Gallery and expert Baia Tsikoridze.

Merab Abramishvili’s works have been participating in international auctions since 2013. Out of 56 presented lots, 41 works have been sold, representing a 76% sell-through rate.

The artist’s auction record was set in 2023 at USD 102,660
