We provide consultancy in Georgian art based on data from local and international art markets and offer client-oriented services covering the selection of individual works, the design of collections, and the decoration of interiors. The scope of our consultancy includes 20th and 21st-century art, cultural heritage, and the works of contemporary artists.

The gallery’s experience in the Georgian art market spans over 32 years – during which time we have successfully delivered high-profile materials and relevant advice – the prerequisites for collectors to make the right decisions. We guarantee the establishment of the artistic and investment value of your collection.

Note: consultation does not include laboratory examination of works of art and is limited to visual, informational, and scientific research only.

The cost of services and consulting vary according to individual requirements and are determined based on the scope and volume of work involved.

Consignment

For the secondary market, the gallery accepts works of art from private collections and offers a fast and flexible system for selling them.

To accept the work – it is mandatory to send your identity card, telephone number, address, quality photo of the front and back side of the work to the following email address: services@baiagallery.com

Also, make sure to include the information about the work of art: author, title, medium, size, year, price, condition, and provenance – when and where was it purchased and gifted? Did it participate in any exhibitions? Is it included in any catalogs? Does it have a certificate of authenticity?

If the gallery decides to accept the work of art, you should bring it to the gallery, where we will make an agreement. We will photograph the work, send it to collectors, auctions, etc., and upload it to international art platforms.

Exhibition Services

Exhibition organization (exposition, installation, dismantling, transportation, and technical maintenance.)

Publishing and advertising services:

  • Preparation of catalog (text, translation, editing, design, printing)
  • Photographing of the artworks
  • Digital project (script, photography, animation)
  • Preparation of exhibition poster and invitation card (printed and electronic versions)
  • Preparation of the artist’s or collection portfolio
  • Preparation of video clips

Rental of the exhibition spaces:

Baia Gallery, 0108 Tbilisi, 19a Ingorokva Street

Size of the exhibition hall: 100 sq/m.

Ceiling height: 4 m.

Cost of exhibition hall rental: 

For 1 day – 800$ (equivalent in GEL).

For 2 days and more – 600$ (equivalent in GEL) per day.

The day before the opening is free (for making exposition and mounting the artworks). The cost includes leasing the exhibition hall. In the case of an exhibition sale, the gallery keeps 15% of the cost of sold artworks.

An indispensable condition: sending the photos of the artworks beforehand. The gallery will make the decision about leasing the exhibition hall after viewing the material.

Paying conditions:

Not later than two weeks before the opening of the exhibition an agreement will be made and the lessee has to pay the cost of one day, in case of a one-day exhibition, 30% of the cost. The total sum must be paid one day earlier before the opening of the exhibition.

The payment will be made in cash or non-cash settlement.

The gallery is not obliged to return the advance payment, if the lessee refuses to arrange an exhibition, except in case of force majeure.

Additional services:

The gallery can help you with the preparation of a promotional package (exhibition poster, invitation card, informational paper, catalog design, etc.) The cost of additional services is variable based on the requirements.

In case of a wish, the buffet can be organized by the lessee.

The gallery does not send press or guest invitations and does not post information about the exhibition on social media or the gallery page.

Size of the gallery: 225 sq/m.

Size of the exhibition hall: 120 sq/m.

Ceiling height: 5 m.

The gallery is equipped with a projector and museum-quality lighting system.

Cost of exhibition hall rental: 

For 1 or 2 days, 1000$ (equivalent in GEL) per day.

For 3 to 7 days, 800$ (equivalent in GEL) per day.

For more than 7 days – the price is negotiated.

The day before the opening is free (for making exposition and mounting the artworks). The cost includes leasing the exhibition hall. In the case of an exhibition sale, the gallery keeps 15% of the cost of sold artworks.
